Elliott Baker: Musicals & Plays

Reviews

Reviews of Doctor Dolittle
Reviews of Findbhera

About midway through life, Elliott decided to actually do what he had dreamed of doing ever since... In 1994 he wrote his first musical score. Unfortunately he didn't own the rights to the book. (Common mistake for new writers.) So the score for "The House At Pooh Corner" sits on the shelf and waits for Christopher Robin to come out and play (Come into public domain.). There are Seven musicals and one play here for your enjoyment. "The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle" has been published by Dramatic Publishing, so you'll have to go to their web site to get it. "Findbhera," and "Findbharr's Daughter" have just been published by Eldridge Publishing. Here is their web site. The remaining four are a joyful gamut of music and drama from the dark crypts of Edgar Allan Poe, to the lyrical magical "Reluctant Dragon." From Ebenezer Scrooge and the rest of the story to a strong willed princess who finds it difficult to sleep. Listen to the samples. Elliott's music supports the characters and takes the audience from the past and future into the moment and holds them there.
